Great hotel with great wi-fi, a cute bar/lounge, and a lovely restaurant. The staff helped me find great shopping spots on my first stay. I highly recommend enjoying the breakfast buffet! I'm coming back for Christmas.

The hotel is perfect with affable employees at the reception desk. The location of the venue was ideal and premier - a 10-15 minute walk from Grace Episcopal Church. Btw, went to city center, located at a medium distance from the hotel.

The historic charm shines through the elegant lobby filled with period decor. Easy access to numerous dining options and attractions made exploring a breeze.
While the central location is a draw, the rooms show significant wear and tear, particularly the bathrooms which are cramped and dated, with issues like mold and poor plumbing. The overall experience felt overpriced for the quality, especially with long waits for the elevator during busy times and lack of replenished toiletries. The noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway definitely detracted from the comfort, making it hard to relax after a day out and about.

Such wonderful overall experience. Superb food, outstanding service and lovely view of the park and the Ravenal Bridge. Outstandingly accommodating staff, unique tradition queen room. Great and incredible location to Charleston International airport, just 17 minutes by car. The restaurant was magnificent, for breakfast.

Excellent location of the hotel. Very good treatment of the personnel and disposition to offer a good experience.
room we had was spectacularly big, bathroom was spectacularly small, you could hardly get in, tiny! Unbelievable that they make such comfortable rooms with such small bathrooms...

Hotel location is perfect for walking the historic district of Charleston. The hotel has maintained the stately beauty of the glamorous hotels of the 1920's & 1930's.
As with many business during this pandemic time, the restaurant and lounge were short staffed.

The lobby exuded charm like a grand Southern home, and the room had a splendid view, made my heart sing louder than a jazz band. The staff was friendly, matching the warmth of a cozy blanket on a chilly day.

Beautiful hotel and very friendly reception staff
The valet parking attendant who didn't even offer us help with our suitcases when we left, whereas on arrival everything was perfect! In addition we had to wait 5 minutes next to our car before they would give us the keys of our car and that really left us a bad image of the hotel by leaving very badly!

Fine lobby that makes you feel like royalty! The staff were a delight-always ensuring our room was super clean and ready for more fun. Plus, the location was perfect for strolling to nearby shops and cafes.
The bathroom was so tiny I could've brushed my teeth while sitting on the toilet! And let's not even discuss the noisy neighbors-it reminded me of a live action reality show!

Charming, charming, charming.
I felt like royalty in our spacious suite with beautiful harbor views! The decor was tasteful, and the bed was so cozy, it hugged us right to sleep. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals that made my taste buds sing - especially that She Crab soup!
